Communication is a critical element to any successful endeavor, personal or professional. When it comes to community based initiatives, it is imperative. All sides need to be able to trust that they are all equally committed, and working towards the same goals.

Without faith in the process, there will be no genuine efforts to see the process through, thus leaving objectives unmet. Without open communication, especially in the face of setbacks, difficult negotiations, or other hurdles, there is no motivation to find a solution and commit to its success.
